As a manager, you will use your skill in project management to create your organization’s strategic objectives to support operational plans.
In this assessment, you will apply what you learned about strategic objectives and external influences on the internal environment. You will consider the external forces and trends that affect the attainment of strategic objectives.
Assessment Deliverable
Write a 350- to 700-word draft of your strategic objectives and measurable outcomes for the company you selected in Week 1.
Create 4–6 strategic objectives that focus on operational plans. These are your own ideas developed from your external and internal environmental scanning. You will finalize these objectives in your Week 6 implementation plan.
Create 2–4 measurable outcomes that align to your strategic objectives. Each outcome may correspond with more than one strategic objective. These measurable outcomes will aid you in preparing your vision statement later.
Relate how the 5 management functions will support your strategic objectives.
