Describe expected duties & responsibilities:

-Preparing and tracking relevant documents, including contracts and customs paperwork, for export operations.

-Responding to pre-sales and after-sales requests from existing customers.

-Organizing and monitoring customs procedures.

-Developing commercial relationships with customers, ensuring communication, and planning and implementing business development activities to expand the customer portfolio in line with objectives.

How does this internship relate to Global Business and/or Transportation?

Working in an export and import company exposes me to international trade. I will be involved in transactions with businesses from different countries, giving me insights into various global markets. I will be involved in coordinating the movement of goods across borders, understanding shipping methods, and optimizing transportation routes.

Both the internship supervisor and the intern should complete this portion of the learning agreement

1. Job Description: Describe in as much detail as possible, the intern's role and responsibilities. List duties, meetings, activities, project deadlines, etc. Please attach additional sheets if needed

He will be responsible assisting in the preparation of the import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.

Assisting in communication with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and other stakeholders via email, phone, or other channels.

Coordinating with logistics providers to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

2. Supervision & Resources: Describe the supervision (and time frame) to be provided to the intern by the site supervisor. For example, an on-site supervisor may choose to meet on a weekly basis with the ITT intern to discuss that week's progress and to address the challenges of the coming week. Please also indicate what resources will be available to assist the intern in accomplishing his/her duties. (e.g. human resources, equipment, such as desk, computer, telephone, etc.)

3. Assessment and Evaluation: Describe any informal and periodic assessment and evaluation provided by the on-site supervisor in addition to the mid-term and final evaluations (forms attached).
