In Week 1, you began creating your Final Supporting Atypical Development presentation. During this final week of class, you will expand your presentation for the last time by revising previous content, adding new content slides, and creating your final narrated presentation.
To prepare for your assignment,
- Read Chapter 10: Assessment and the IFSP/IEP Process.
- Review the feedback your instructor provided from your Week 3 assignment.

- Locate and open the Supporting Atypical Development Download Supporting Atypical Developmenttemplate you have been working on.
There are two steps to your final presentation.
Step 1: Create a 14-slide PowerPoint presentation that includes the following:
- Revise your 10 slides from Weeks 1 through 3 based on the feedback from your instructor.
- Explain your role in the IFSP and IEP process (one slide).
- Discuss how you will collaborate with your colleagues to support children who are developing atypically (one slide).
- Summarize three key takeaways from your presentation (one slide).
- Explain how you revised your presentation throughout the weeks of the course (one slide).
- Expand on the main ideas for each topic in the slide notes.
Step 2: Use ScreenPal to record yourself presenting your presentation. Make sure to place the link to your ScreenPal recording on the title slide of your presentation.
The Supporting Atypical Development final presentation
- Must be 14 slides in length and formatted according to the Supporting Atypical Development template.
